“Thanks to the scholarship assistance from the NCESF and skills I have gained competing in the Miss North Carolina Organization, I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Science, secured a job at Duke University Hospital three months before my graduation date, and serve in several leadership roles in the Interventional Radiology department at Duke. I was able to begin my career as a Radiologic Technologist with all of my undergraduate student loans paid off! I am now saving additional scholarships I have earned to pursue my dream of attending medical school to become a Pediatrician.”
